Medium Updated Their Partners Program and the Changes are Game-Changing!
As a new writer on Medium, timing couldn’t be better for the New Partners Program enhancements.
In this article, I’ll talk about some of the changes and how it could benefit you, should you choose to apply (if you haven’t already).
What is Medium’s Partner Program?
In 2017, Medium launched the Partner Program, which allows writers to earn money for contributing their writing to its community.
The program has been updated several times over the years. When I joined a few weeks ago, I couldn’t apply since I did not have a sufficient follower base to get started.
And that was super disappointing.
The latest version launched on August 1, 2023. I literally waited until midnight to apply. For some reason I couldn’t sign up until August 2nd because the site took some type to get updated with the latest program requirements.
